The role involves performing interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, electrophysiology, and pacemaker placements, in a fast-paced environment. The position requires operating fluoroscopy equipment in compliance with safety standards, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Job Details Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Location: The facility is a 400-430 bed acute care hospital. Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with call required for STEMI coverage, requiring a 30-minute response time, approximately one weekend per month and one night per week, with additional coverage available if desired. Required Qualifications: ARRT(R) Registered Technologist in Radiography Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license Associate Degree in Radiology Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist. Additional Information: Proficiency in operating complex cardiology equipment and radiation safety protocols. Ability to assist independently during interventional cardiac procedures. Ability to monitor hemodynamic and physiologic data using specialized systems. Responsible for ensuring patient and staff safety, maintaining supply stock, and training/educating staff and students as needed. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity.
