Job Type: Full-Time Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $17.25 per hour

Position Summary: We are seeking a customer-focused Bank Teller to join a financial institution on a temporary full-time basis. This role is responsible for performing teller transactions, assisting members with account services, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other member transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Assist members with account inquiries and resolve account-related issues.
• Update member account information as needed.
• Provide information regarding financial products and services.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Support fraud prevention efforts by following established procedures.
• Assist with daily check processing and balancing.
• Complete required regulatory reporting and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
• Provide professional service through effective verbal and written communication.
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings.
• Cross-train and assist with operational duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum six (6) months of cash handling experience.
• Minimum six (6) months of customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience working in a bank or credit union.
• Sales or cross-selling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn multiple software applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking.
