Fire Alarm Service Technician

Job Responsibilities Perform repairs of low voltage systems Identifies and solves problems Encourage customer satisfaction Report of materials and repair needs Fill out Service Acknowledgement forms on each jobsite Adding to and retaining knowledge for professional growth Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and other employees Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices Keep and maintain company issued safety & work equipment Possess and maintain hand tools necessary for system maintenance Job Requirements Organization: Utilizes and promotes strong organizational skills. Exhibit effective time management while developing installation skills. Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. Employs effective listening skills. Problem Solving: Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives. Must have a “puzzle-solving” mentality. Interpersonal Skills: Willingness to take direction and retain the knowledge gained. Tactful and mature demeanor. Must be self-motivating. Technical: High School diploma or equivalent. Possess a basic understanding of all low voltage systems installation and operation. Factory certified on a major security or access control system preferred. General: Two+ years of trade experience. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must pass a background check. Be able to safely perform physically including heavy lifting, 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating power drills/saws. Must be able to pass state and federal background check (criminal record or federal watch lists). Must be eligible for US employment. Be able to work from elevated heights. #J-18808-Ljbffr
