Job Summary The Web Content Strategist conducts interviews, gathers, researches and analyzes data to develop and execute content strategies for new and existing websites. Keeps projects on track and on budget. Maintains editorial standards, accuracy and quality of all content across varying web properties. Uses experiences and research to influence stakeholders to optimize digital content and assesses, reviews and approves digital content for FIU websites. Measures content quality and sets standards while promoting best guides, template and other web related deliverables. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of work experience in digital design/publication agency environments as content strategist, copywriter, or an editorial related field. Desired Qualifications 3+ years of experience updating and managing website content utilizing Content Management Systems (e.g., Cascade, WordPress), with a strong preference for experience in higher education. Proven ability to develop successful content strategies, alongside exceptional skills in drafting, editing, and optimizing digital content. Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) best practices, content design principles, and 508/ADA web accessibility standards. Working knowledge of basic HTML and image-editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop). Strong communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to both small and large groups. Experience using AI tools and AI agents to improve content strategy and organizational efficiency.
