Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a global technology business operating complex, performance-critical systems at scale.

\n

\n

This is an engineering-heavy infrastructure role for someone who likes to code, automate and get deep into systems. You’ll build the tooling and infrastructure that keeps large production environments reliable, observable and easy to operate.

\n

\n

\n

What You'll Do:

\n

You’ll work on problems such as:

\n

\n
• Building Python services and internal tooling for infrastructure and operational workflows.
\n
• Automating how systems are configured, deployed and managed across large environments.
\n
• Engineering safer and more repeatable ways of rolling out infrastructure and application changes.
\n
• Building better telemetry, monitoring and alerting across the stack.
\n
• Eliminating manual processes through software and automation.
\n
• Investigating complex issues across Linux, networking, compute and applications.
\n
• Improving the resilience and consistency of critical systems.
\n
• Designing tooling that engineers can actually rely on when something goes wrong.
\n
• Taking technical ownership of infrastructure components and helping shape how they evolve.
\n

\n

\n

What You'll Bring:

\n

You’re probably someone who enjoys both writing software and understanding what happens underneath it.

\n

We’re looking for:

\n

\n
• Strong Python development skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
\n
• Excellent knowledge of Linux systems.
\n
• A good understanding of networking, compute and application infrastructure.
\n
• Experience automating large or complex technical environments.
\n
• Exposure to containers, orchestration and CI/CD.
\n
• Experience working with monitoring, metrics and observability.
\n
• The ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers rather than treating infrastructure as a black box.
\n
• An engineering mindset: if something is repetitive, fragile or difficult to scale, you want to build a better solution.
\n

\n

\n

Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Ansible, Jenkins, Vault, FastAPI, Flask or Django is useful. Go or Rust would be an added bonus.

\n

\n

Are you ready for a new challenge? We'd love to hear from you.
