We are an established and growing outpatient psychiatry practice specializing in ADHD and mental health treatment. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and personable Medical Assistant / Front Office Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Patient check-in and check-out
• Answering and managing incoming calls
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
• Completing medication and insurance prior authorizations
• Managing pharmacy and prescription-related messages
• Obtaining and processing medical records
• Accurately routing patient messages to providers
• Maintaining accurate patient information in the EMR
• Providing basic clinical and administrative support
• Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Supporting efficient day-to-day clinic operations

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant or medical-office experience preferred
• Prior authorization experience strongly preferred
• Experience communicating with pharmacies and insurance companies preferred
• Strong computer and EMR skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Professional and courteous with patients
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy outpatient environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, ADHD treatment, or another outpatient specialty practice is a plus.
