Business Technology Project Manager

Why join us? DWF are currently recruiting for a Technology Project Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role delivering projects across the organisation to drive operational efficiencies and enhance customer experience. The nature of the projects will typically be medium in size and complexity i.e.. scope, cost and the number of stakeholders. This role is based in Manchester area where the candidate will be required to visit the office on occasions when required. Responsibilities Proactively plan, manage, and execute high-profile change initiatives Continuously monitor progress across multiple projects, maintaining clear objectives and customer requirements, and ensuring that all deliverables meet specified quality standards Provide regular reports and updates to senior stakeholders Manage communications with key stakeholders ensuring they are promptly informed of any changes to the project's status Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Legal Operations, HR, Finance, Group Change, and Integrations, to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes. Ensure project budgets are managed and tracked against ROI and that any deviations are escalated. Support change management activities, including input into business communications and training material Effectively manage vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with contractual agreements What will help you succeed in this role? Essential A background in managing end to end IT infrastructure projects, such as data centre initiatives and data classification/clean‑up. Proven experience in leading and managing SaaS application implementations, including user adoption and seamless integration. Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Demonstrated collaboration with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Legal Operations, HR, Finance) to ensure project alignment and success. Experience in vendor management, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and contract compliance. Ability to work on multiple diverse projects at the same time Familiarity with group change initiatives or large‐scale organisational integration projects. Good communication skills, with the ability to provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and resource requirements. Desirable Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including: Windows Server, 365 & Azure services Awareness of ITIL Service Management practices and approach Awareness of IT Architecture and Design processes e.g. TOGAF Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Microsoft Certified MS900/AZ900). Experience in hybrid cloud environments or digital transformation projects. Knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices for scope control and escalation processes. What we offer?
