The primary need is weekend coverage, including inpatient rounding and remote/in-person call. Weekend call includes STEMI coverage, with in-person response required when a STEMI case occurs.

Provide Interventional Cardiology coverage Round on inpatient Cardiology patients Provide weekend rounding Saturday and Sunday Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients Provide weekend call coverage Respond to Cardiology-related phone consultations Respond to STEMI emergencies Report to the hospital for STEMI cases when required Perform Cath/PCI procedures Perform TEE procedures Perform cardioversion Coordinate care with General Cardiologists and APPs Document patient care appropriately

Support & Team
During the weekday, the service is supported by three General Cardiologists and one Interventional Cardiologist. APP support is also available.
Weekend daytime call coverage is supported by one APP.
Requirements
Board Certified - Required Active Florida Medical License - Required Interventional Cardiology experience - Required Ability to provide weekend rounding Ability to provide weekend call coverage Ability to respond in person for STEMI cases Ability to perform Cath/PCI procedures Ability to perform TEE and cardioversion

An active Florida medical license is required.
