Position: MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: City, State

Shift Information

Schedule: Night Shift (3x12-Hour) - 19:00 to 07:30

  • Every other weekend commitment required.
  • Mandatory floating to ARU and DOU.
  • Specific start dates available: 10/13, 10/27, or 11/11.
Work Environment

The nursing unit operates in a fast-paced environment with the following nurse-to-patient ratios:
  • DOU: 1 nurse for every 3 patients
  • ARU: 1 nurse for every 5 patients
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant nursing position.
  • Certifications Required:

    • ACLS
    • BLS
    • NIHSS
  • Experience with charting systems is required.
Required Skills
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Feeding tube care and management
  • Blood product administration
  • Central and peripheral line management
  • Nasal cannula and oxygen face mask administration
  • Non-invasive airway management and tracheostomy care
  • Isolation precautions
  • Wound care and wound vac management
Unit Details
  • Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
  • Nurse to Patient Ratios: Varied based on department needs
  • Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy
Expectations
  • Mandatory floating to different areas as needed.
  • Compliance with all facility policies and procedures.
