BAS/DDC Programming Specialist — Commercial HVAC

Where: Nashville, TN 37204 • Type: Full-time, In person

Pay: $35.00–$45.00 per hour (based on experience) • Company vehicle • 401(k) with match • Medical, dental, vision, life • PTO

• Do you enjoy turning mechanical design intent into reliable BAS logic and clean graphics?
• Are you comfortable moving between Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or Distech environments?
• Can you commission a DDC system on Monday and remotely troubleshoot a PLC routine on Tuesday?

• Program, configure, and commission HVAC control systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Create sequences of operation, control strategies, and operator-friendly graphics
• Diagnose performance issues and optimize systems to meet spec
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field technicians for smooth delivery
• Support start-up, testing, and produce clear documentation
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients and internal teams

• 3+ years of HVAC controls or BAS programming experience
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, sequences, and electrical basics
• Proficiency with platforms like Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or Distech
• Comfort reading wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control schematics
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
