Job Summary United Way of East Central Iowa seeks a detail‑oriented, mission‑driven Accountant to support financial operations and advance community impact. In this role, you will manage core accounting functions—financial reporting, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and campaign pledge administration—in accordance with GAAP standards. Responsibilities Manage core accounting functions including financial reporting, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and campaign pledge administration. Work closely with leadership and contribute to audits and budgeting processes. Ensure the financial health and transparency of the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1–5 years of accounting experience. Strong technical skills in financial systems and Microsoft Office. Analytical, highly organized, and committed to excellence, integrity, and collaboration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
