Senior Accountant

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis area to identify a Senior Accountant. This role will play a key part in supporting accounting operations by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial reporting processes. It is a hybrid opportunity with a well-established organization that offers a strong benefits package and an excellent overall culture. Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and month/year-end close
- Prepare reconciliations and resolve account variances
- Maintain accurate account coding and financial records
- Support leadership with reporting, analysis, and audit requests
- Improve processes and partner across teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of public and/or corporate accounting experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit support exposure
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Process-driven with high integrity and confidentiality
