Lia Hyundai Hartford – Level B & C Automotive Technician We are seeking an experienced technician for a fast‑paced, professional environment that rewards hard‑working, reliable, and team‑oriented individuals. Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign‑on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience. Compensation Range: $45,000 – $60,000 per year. Sign‑on bonus: N/A. Requirements 3+ years of service technician experience. Any Hyundai training or certification preferred. Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience required. State inspection certification required. ASE certification recommended. Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications. Computer skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Must have a clean and valid driver’s license. Key Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes. Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time required for additional repairs.
