Legal Assistant

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join a nationally recognized law firm in a collaborative Legal Resource Center. This is an opportunity to support attorneys across practice areas, work on sophisticated legal documents, and step into a senior-level role with meaningful mentorship responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare, format, proofread, and transmit complex legal documents, pleadings, and briefs
Produce documents using advanced Word features including TOCs, TOAs, cross-references, and Track Changes
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, admissions, and CLE tracking
Convert and reformat PDF documents and create PowerPoint presentations, charts, and graphs
Manage incoming workflow and prioritize competing deadlines
Provide backup coverage across the legal team and assist with client financial records
Mentor team members and provide assistance as needed

What You'll Need to be Considered:

Advanced Microsoft Word skills in legal document production
Experience supporting attorneys within a mid-to-large law firm
Strong litigation document preparation and deadline-management capabilities
Comfort working in a team-based legal support model
Strong judgment, initiative, and composure in high-pressure environments
A genuine interest in mentoring and developing others
