Assistant Manager Childrens Medical Group (Jackson, MS)

POSITION SUMMARY:The Assistant Manager assists in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care through coordination of daily operations including clinical workflows clinical staff training and satisfaction of quality measures; maintains departmental supply needs and OSHA compliance. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Manager in the business and clinical operations of the department. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAND one of the following is required:At least two (2) years of prior medical supervisory experience in a clinic setting orGraduation certificate from an accredited school of nursing (RN or LPN)If a nurse current MS state licensure is requiredBachelors degree in a health-related field preferredWorking knowledge of clinical workflows in an outpatient setting to provide superior patient care and assistance to physicians/providers preferredQUALIFICATIONS:Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationComposure in fastpaced highpressure environmentsWillingness and ability to learn new technologiesDependable punctual and highly detailorientedStrong multitasking and independentwork capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate documentation skillsAbility to follow established workflows consistentlyMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPointWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM with some weekends.
