Responsibilities What You'll Be Engaged In

• Carry out routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory analyseschemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to precise protocols.
• Examine and validate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new team members or students, and help maintain the laboratory's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working atmosphere, strictly following regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or another comparable allied health discipline, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
