Title : Internal Project Manager
Location: Schenectady, NY
Work Schedule: Hybrid Monday & Friday: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday: Remote
Travel: Up to 5% Domestic
Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly project review meetings covering cost, schedule, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute mitigation plans for project challenges.
- Support Project Managers by tracking project progress, managing risks, and monitoring schedule performance.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and escalate critical issues when necessary.
- Assist with project forecasting, commitment meetings, and execution planning to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, or Program Management.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
- CAPM or PMP certification (or equivalent project management training).
- Experience supporting projects within the steam, nuclear, or gas power industry.
