Registered Nurse - Field Assessor

Job Overview We are hiring for a PRN RN Field Assessor to join our passionate team in Fredricksburg, VA. As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor you will complete Long Term Care insurance assessments, obtaining claimant demographics, physician information, current medication list, and evaluating the claimant's functional level of independence. The assessment process includes a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to perform ADL and IADL tasks. Candidates must be technologically savvy and able to use a point‑of‑care web application/systems on a laptop or tablet for real‑time documentation. Responsibilities Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments Collect claimant demographics, physician information, and medication list Evaluate functional independence level and perform cognitive screening Assess ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks Document findings in a real‑time web application Work independently in various home environments Required Qualifications Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice Current CPR certification Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation Proven ability to function in any home situation regardless of client characteristics Preferred Qualifications 1+ year RN experience Ability to work independently Good communication, writing, and organizational skills Compensation Pay ranges from $36.98 to $81.63 per hour based on full‑time employment.
