Materials Handler - 3rd shift

A Materials Handler is responsible for supplying raw material to the press and daily changeovers. Duties and responsibilities Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Responsible for material change overs at the molding machine Responsible for maintaining and cleaning dryers, grinders and raw material area Maintain and correctly label the raw materials Assist production team on housekeeping of plant floor Operates forklift, pallet truck and other associated material handling equipment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures Must be a self-starter and highly motivated Ability to plan and organize their schedule Working conditions Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required. Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required Physical requirements Standing for long periods of time Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 1500 pounds with an assist.
