Patient Service Representative (Weekend 12 Hour Shift)

This role is responsible for managing patient registration, facilitating smooth check-in workflows, and delivering exceptional front-line service to patients and their families. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced healthcare environments, can work independently, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills-especially during high-volume or high-stress situations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Register patients accurately in *Epic* and ensure all demographic and insurance information is complete
* Verify physician orders and prepare patients for imaging services (MRI)
* Collect, review, and process consent forms and required documentation
* Handle sensitive patient interactions with professionalism and empathy
* Operate independently during evening and weekend shifts with minimal supervision
*Qualifications*High school diploma required; *Associate's Degree required for PSR III level candidates*

* *3+ years of Patient Access, registration, or healthcare front-end experience preferred*
* *Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems strongly preferred*
* *Strong understanding of insurance verification and patient intake processes*
* *Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills*
*Preferred Experience*
* Pediatric patient registration
* Emergency Department (ED) registration
* Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced healthcare environments
*Schedule Options* *Weekend Roles (2 openings):*

* Saturday & Sunday
* 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
*Weekday Evening Roles (2 openings):*

* Monday - Friday
* 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.45 - $27.69/hr.
