Now Hiring Part-Time Small Group Tutors
Due to increased student demand, we’re expanding our team and adding a limited number of part-time small group tutoring positions . This is an on-site position at Huntington Learning Center in Plantation.
This is an ideal opportunity for teachers and educators looking to earn extra income in a structured, no-prep environment while working directly with small groups of students.
What Small Group Tutoring Looks Like:- Work with small groups of up to 5 students at a time
- Students are typically 4th grade and up
- Each student follows their own individualized program and curriculum
- Provide targeted instruction and support based on each student’s needs
- Work with multiple subjects and skill levels within the same session
- No lesson planning – Huntington provides the curriculum and instructional materials
- Flexible scheduling – afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- No lesson planning or curriculum development
- Steady stream of students (hours vary based on availability and scheduling)
- Supportive, professional environment
- A structured setting that allows you to focus on teaching
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic skills and confidence
- Reading & writing
- Math (elementary through high school)
- SAT/ACT preparation
- General academic support
We go beyond traditional homework help. Our programs are diagnostic and individualized , so even when students are learning in a small group, each student is working toward their own specific academic goals. Tutors provide targeted instruction while helping students develop stronger skills, confidence, and independence.
