About the Role As a Family Law attorney at Tully Rinckey, you will be responsible for providing quality legal advice, representing clients in disputes, and managing a wide range of Family and Matrimonial matters. The ideal candidate will have an interest or direct experience in representing individuals in Family or Matrimonial based claims. Compensation is based on practice related experience. Candidates must be barred in New York. Responsibilities Provide legal representation to clients in child-custody, child-support, child-abuse, contested divorce, uncontested divorce, and other Family and Matrimonial related cases. Draft pleadings, including motions, discovery requests and responses, and other substantive filings. Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare for litigation and arbitration. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, conference, depositions, administrative hearings, and court proceedings. Develop strategies to minimize risk and efficiently resolve disputes. Stay updated with changes in Family and Matrimonial Law and advise clients accordingly. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in New York with good standing. 2+ years of direct experience in Family Law matters Interest or direct experience in representing individuals in Family Law related claims. Understanding of state Family law statutes, codes, and regulations. Litigation, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Understanding of state Family law statutes, codes, and regulations Compensation ranges Beginning January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys at Tully Rinckey PLLC receive a starting salary of $120,000, along with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary, rewarding productivity, excellence, and client impact.
