Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements Previous assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred Experience using drill presses, automatic band saws, and belt sanders Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills

Job Duties Assemble metal components and products according to blueprints and specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Read and follow assembly instructions and engineering drawings Report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Meet daily production goals while following safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred. Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial. Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Fab Shop Associate.

Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment. Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
