Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN – Cath Lab

Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday Call: Required (one night/week; every 4th weekend)

Requirements:

• RN license (state or compact)
• ACLS, BLS certifications
• Minimum 3 years Cath Lab RN experience
• Epic charting experience

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients undergoing procedures for various cardiac conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage emergency situations as needed.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Urgent fingerprinting required immediately upon booking; strict deadline applies.
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor.
• Current facility employees are ineligible for traveler roles; former employees eligible after 6 months away.
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
• RTO (Return-to-Office) requirement must be included with submission.
