Looking for a stable day-shift role where you can put your equipment operating skills to work? Join our Katy team as a Warehouse Associate & Truck Loadout Specialist. Offering steady Monday-through-Friday hours, competitive weekly pay, and a clear path toward permanent hire, this role is perfect for an experienced forklift operator who takes pride in quality control and safe material handling.

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Duration:3-month contract (potential for permanent based on performance)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM –4:00PM

What You’ll Do

• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) including Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Stand-Up Forklifts, and Sit-Down Propane Forklifts to transfer inventory safely.
• Execute truck loadout and receive by loading outgoing trucks, staging product, unloading incoming shipments, and moving materials to designated storage areas.
• Process and package shipments by shrink-wrapping, boxing, labeling, and verifying orders against shipping manifests.
• Enforce quality control standards by inspecting all inbound and outbound items to ensure no damaged products are accepted or shipped, while keeping daily equipment logs and maintaining 5S workspace cleanliness.

What We’re Looking For

• Equipment Experience: Required reach truck operation experience; proficiency with multiple PIT types (sit-down propane, stand-up, order picker) is expected.
• Quality & Safety Focus: Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a meticulous eye for inspecting product damage.
• Physical Capabilities: Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, loading materials, and standing/walking throughout a full 8-hour shift.
• Key Attributes: Highly reliable, self-motivated to keep staging areas clean and safe, and comfortable filling out daily equipment logs.

Work Environment: You will work in an active distribution warehouse and dock area. The setting relies heavily on powered material handling equipment, quality inspection protocols, and proactive teamwork to keep loading schedules running smoothly.

Employment Note: This is a temporary/contract engagement focused on immediate operational support; standard corporate health benefits and paid time off are not provided during the initial contract duration.
