Job Title: Dietary Aide
Location: On-site, Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab Fairview Reports to: Housekeeping and Dining Services Manager
Position Type: Full-time | Hourly Accepting applications through August 19, 2026. Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a full-time, Dietary Aide to join our team at the Skilled Nursing and Rehab campus in Fairview. Responsibilities

• Ability to maintain and self-direct dining responsibilities within a timely manner according to the dining schedule
  
  
• Prepare workstation for food tray line as well as operating large dining carts with trays of meals.
  
  
• Serve residents at designated tables following special diets, food and beverage
  preference and intolerances
• Work position assigned in dish room, assist with maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area by sweeping, mopping, taking care of garbage, busing and washing tables.
• Promote a positive work environment through professional conduct, teamwork and a helpful, positive attitude to all co-workers and customers
  
  
• Support and promotes resident and client rights and allows for privacy, dignity, and well-being of all
• Efficient time management and prioritization of work
  
  
• Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances
  
  
• Participate in staff meetings and education programs designated for attendance
  
  
• Perform other duties and achieves other results as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Prior senior services or dining experience is preferred.

Schedule and Compensation

• Employment type:  Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Morning Shift and Evening Shift rotation - 8 hour shifts
• Weekends: Every other weekendrotation
• On-Call: None
• Pay Rate: $14.00 / hour
