Feather River Baptist Church is located in Olivehurst, CA which is designated in Yuba County, California. The population at last census was 19,071, up from 13,656, in 2010. The area is fast- growing and centrally located. Olivehurst is 25-30 minutes North of Sacaramento, CA and within a few hours of both Mountains, Lakes, and the Northern California Coast.

Feather River Baptist Church (FRBC) is seeking a part-time, bi-vocational or semi-retired Pastor to lead our dedicated congregation as our current Pastor is called to another mission. The ideal pastoral candidate must be a licensed and ordained Southern Baptist and fulfill the Biblical qualifications of 1 Tim 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. The candidate shall also be in agreement with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. The candidate’s focus for the church should be shepherding the flock in prayer, preaching, evangelism, leadership, discipleship and building relationships while growing the flock.

Feather River Baptist Church is supported by a dedicated team of very competent volunteers who lead Sunday night Family and Youth Activities, Visiting Ill and Aging Congregation Members, Organizing and Maintaining Monthly Fellowship Luncheon within the community and regularly scheduled Annual Events. 

Primary Responsibilities include: 

Oversee, support and engage in Sunday Morning Sermon 

Being enthusiastic, encouraging, enjoy fellowship social outings and Bible Studies of all kinds

Starting Salary: $3000 per month to include housing allowance and other expenses, to be dispersed as needed. As the church grows appropriate compensation is open for discussion.
