Mammography Technologist
Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation
The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammograms and supports breast procedures in accordance with MQSA and ARRT standards. This role includes positioning patients, operating mammography equipment, applying radiation safety, documenting clinical history, and ensuring image quality and accurate labeling. The technologist assists with procedures such as stereotactic biopsy and wire localization, performs routine QA testing, educates patients about exams, and helps promote breast health awareness in a hospital or imaging setting.
