Quick Facts Location: Springfield, MO (1235 East Cherokee Street, Springfield, MO 65804) Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/As Needed Shift: 12-hour shifts (rotation flexible) Hours/week: Varies based on needs Employment Type: Temporary/Locum License/Certs: Active State Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred, at least 2+ years of clinical practice Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $218.40/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage for high-volume maternity unit, delivering patient-centered care for 2700–3000 annual births Manage obstetric emergencies, including GYN emergencies and NICU Level 3 cases Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality care Document patient encounters and medical records accurately Participate in rounding, patient management, and emergencies as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies and medical standards What You Need Valid Medical License in Missouri Board Certification or Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minimum of 2+ years of OB hospitalist experience Ability to handle obstetric emergencies confidently Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Springfield, MO, known for its busy maternity and OB services.
