Controller

Location: Guilford, CT (full-time, onsite) Reports to: CEO This is a senior, hands-on Controller role overseeing all accounting and finance operations for a small manufacturing company. The role combines day-to-day accounting ownership with strategic financial leadership, supporting profitability, cost control, and operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Oversee all accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets) Manage month-end and year-end close and financial reporting Own manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital Maintain GAAP compliance, internal controls, and audit support Lead ERP/system improvements and develop the accounting team Ideal Background 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Manufacturing or inventory-based accounting background Experience in small to mid-sized, privately held companies CPA or public accounting experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
