Construction Laborer

Skilled Laborer – $25/Hour - Start ASAP

We're hiring General Laborers to support the construction of prefabricated metal buildings. This role involves a mix of foundation work, assembly, and hands-on tasks using basic tools. You'll receive training to read blueprints and contribute to the successful completion of commercial projects.

Location: Lincoln, NE and surrounding areas

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist with footings and foundation preparation
• Assemble prefabricated metal buildings
• Operate hand and power tools, lifts, telehandlers, and skid steers
• Perform physical labor on commercial construction sites
• Work with materials including metal panels, trims, insulation, drywall, and paint
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of construction experience
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Exposure to at least 3 of the following trades: Metal Panel Installation, Trims, Insulation, Carpentry, Drywall, Painting
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (Summer/Winter)
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
