Health Information Specialist: Medical Records & PHI Compliance

Universal Hospital Services Inc.

The Sierra Vista Hospital location in south Sacramento seeks a Health Information Management Specialist to handle records, transcription, filing and chart tracking within the HIM Department. This role focuses on processing and monitoring health information releases while complying with PHI regulations. Preferred candidates have an HIM program background; two years in a hospital HIM setting and licensure such as RHIT/CPC/CCS are advantageous.
