About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac OR RNFA Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience License: NYS RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, CNOR Certification Must-Have: Telemetry experience Description: Cardiac RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing. Candidate should be able to independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs. It is preferred to first assist in robotic cases, but not required. Ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases is preferred, including CABGs and structural heart cases. Experience in minimally invasive procedures is a plus. Heart failure cases, including Impella, are part of the responsibilities. Familiarity with heart transplants is preferred. On-call responsibilities may be required based on unit needs.
