Overview Operating Room Registered Nurse – Circulator in Newark, NY, starting 08/24/2026 for a Weeks travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,606 to $2,687 per week with 0.0 guaranteed hours. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,606–$2,687 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 4x10 Days Start date: 08/24/2026 Facility/work setting: Acute care hospital Responsibilities Circulate for general abdominal, gynecologic, orthopedic, and urologic procedures; assist the surgical team with instrument handling and setup. Maintain sterile technique, adhere to universal protocol (time-out), infection control, wound management, and blood administration/cell saver as needed. Coordinate with anesthesia and the circulating team; ensure patient safety and maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures. Chart intraoperative events in EPIC; document pertinent details and communicate effectively with the team. Float to other OR areas as needed; participate in rotating weekends and rotating on-call nights. Support overall OR efficiency and help with turnover between cases. Requirements NY RN license in-hand required; candidates within 75 miles of the assignment location are not accepted.
