We do things differently!This position involves light administrative work when not seeing clients.We offer our At Home Care family:Top pay wage scaleTop pay wage scaleFlexible scheduling to fit your lifestyleMedical, vision, dental, and life insurance for full-time employeesTuition scholarships for you and your familyWeekly pay and direct depositPaid travelHome health aide educationShort commute times – we try to match you to work opportunities near your home.Job Purpose: The basic function of a home care aide is to perform tasks such as activities of daily living and household tasks.Job responsibilities:Planning, preparation, and clean–up of mealsGiving bed baths or assisting with a shower or tub bathAssist with oral care, such as tooth brushing or denture care, when the participant is unable.Assisting with getting in and out of bed to a wheelchair, walker, or chair when a participant is weight-bearing.Assisting the participants with ordinarily self-administered medications (open bottles, get water)Light housekeepingLaundering clothes and linens;Making beds and changing sheets;Shopping for essential items (e.g., groceries, cleaning supplies, etc.);Advance personal care - assist with ostomy care, assist with catheter care, perform bowel programs, administer non-injectable meds, assist with insulin set-up, and perform vital signs and weightsSkills/Education:Must be 18 years of ageA minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care with either a skilled nursing facility or an in-home care agency is preferred.Certified nurse assistant (CNA) license must be nonrestrictiveMust also be able to assist the patient with walking through the use of a cane, walker, or gait belt throughout the facility or client's home.
