Job Summary A Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT) position is available in Grand Junction, Colorado. The role involves providing advanced-level respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and management of cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities within the scope of practice. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience. Job Details Location: Grand Junction, Colorado Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Graduate of a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution; current Colorado license issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); NBRC (RRT) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA; 0 years of minimum experience required Preferred Qualifications: N/A Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing procedures, administer medications, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives. Float to other departments within scope of competency may be required. On-call duties may be assigned as needed.
