Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their shipping, printing, and retail needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product demos, explaining features of various shipping supplies, printing services, and retail merchandise
- Upsell additional services such as packaging options, insurance, or promotional items to maximize sales opportunities
- Stock shelves, merchandise products attractively, and ensure the store is clean and organized for an optimal shopping experience
- Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities while maintaining accurate records
- Handle phone inquiries professionally following proper phone etiquette and assist customers with questions or scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies to enhance sales performance
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment similar to grocery store settings
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and attention to detail
- Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and inventory management
