Job Title
Job Description and Duties
Under the close supervision of a Sergeant, the duties of the position include but are not limited to, routine inspections on commercial-type vehicles to determine compliance with weight, size, registration, safety, equipment requirements; inspect and test all types of commercial vehicle brake systems for compliance with the vehicle code and other applicable laws/regulations, referring violations to an enforcement officer for action when necessary; and attends required training.
