Job DescriptionUp to $25,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience!\n\n\nJob type: Full Time\n\n\nShift: Nights\n\n\nHours: 0730PM - 0800AM\n\n\nUnder the supervision of the Radiologist and Department Management Team, the Radiology Technologist -Advanced (Tech) shall provide radiographic imaging services to patients by performing general diagnostic radiological procedures and general fluoroscopic procedures as required of the position of Tech. Additionally, the Tech will perform DEXA scans based on department needs. The Tech shall operate imaging equipment and image processing equipment, prepare radiographic exam rooms, and maintain department equipment and supplies. The Tech shall provide medical imaging services utilizing various modalities including Radiology, Computer Tomography, and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging; while maintaining competencies in these assigned areas. The Tech will provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Additionally, the Tech will provide services for inpatients, outpatients; hospital operating suites, the emergency department (ED), and the continuing care center (CCC).\n\n\nMaintains quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the department as directed. Complies with all Joint Commission, federal, state and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Requires excellent customer service skills.\n\nRequired Minimum Education/Certification/Experience:\n\n\n· Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.\n\n\n· Must have current CA - CRT certification; Certified by the State of California.\n\n\n· Must have current CA - Fluoroscopy license; Certified by the State of California, or obtain one within 120 days of employment \n\n\n· Certified by the ARRT and must have a current ARRT R.T. (R) certification. Experience performing CT and/or MRI exams.\n\n\n· Current American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\n\n· Minimum of three (3) continuous years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.\n\n\n· Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge.\n\nPreferred:\n\n\n· Competent skills to perform DEXA Scans.\n\n\n· Three or more years of continuous CT and/or MRI experience\n\n\n· ARRT certification in CT and/or MRI\n\n\nEmbark on a rewarding career with Hi-Desert Medical Center hospital.
