Substitutes are "on-call" 3-6 hours per day. Hourly Rate: Middle School and High School = $11.72; Elementary/Satellite = $11.82 Responsibilities Friendly and work well with staff and students. Able to lift 25 lbs. and stand for long periods of time. Willing to take "Person in Charge" training (3.5 hours available online); this is the substitute employee's responsibility. Start time can be from 7:30 AM for elementary or later if working in a secondary building.
