Retail Banker I - White Plains (Bilingual Spanish Preferred)

Job Summary Retail Banker I at TD in White Plains, NY supports customers through banking solutions, consultative advice, and product recommendations. Key Responsibilities Engage in conversations with customers to assess needs, provide product recommendations, and offer consultative support. Use CAMRA and other tools to proactively manage customer interactions and outbound sales activities. Resolve customer issues, errors, and problems independently, escalating when necessary. Maintain active NMLS registration and perform teller training upon hire. Handle day‑to‑day teller transactions such as check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals while adhering to fraud mitigation and operational policies. Support cash and account services, promote self‑service and digital banking options. Participate in customer outreach, servicing and advice activities to deliver the “unexpectedly human” experience. Act as brand advocate, support risk and control policies, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Customer Accountabilities Deliver legendary experience by building trust with educational content, tools, and consultative support. Advocate for customers, provide proactive tips and insights. Serve as a point of escalation for customer questions or concerns and perform teller transactions. Educate customers on self‑service options and digital channels. Shareholder and Employee/Team Accountabilities Ensure compliance with Bank secrecy, Patriot Act, and operational procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Bank Code of Conduct. Collaborate with the team, share knowledge, and participate in performance management. Contribute to a diverse, equitable environment and promote inclusive culture. Physical Requirements Perform sedentary work, multiple tasks, and continuous use of standard office equipment. Perform light lifting (under 25 lbs.) and occasional heavier lifting. Stand, walk and occasionally bend, kneel, crawl, etc. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED. 1+ year experience in customer service or sales (volunteer, education, military preferred). Teller experience preferred. Must complete teller training upon hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: Notary License, NMLS registration (Mortgage Loan Originator).
