Job Description As a Security Officer - Corporate Lobby Patrol , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.85 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property common areas, lobbies, exterior grounds, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site requirements. Maintain clear and professional communication with property personnel, tenants, and emergency responders while completing accurate activity, incident, and shift reports. Minimum Requirements Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
