Immediate opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist in San Diego, CA who possesses: * 1+ years of CNC Lathe Machine operating experience in aerospace * Experience with hand tools (micrometers, height gauges, calipers, etc.) * Ability to read and interpret blueprints FULL DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will be responsible for: * Operate one or more CNC machines * Set-up machines and submit parts for first article approvals * Use provided measuring equipment to inspect parts * Complete a task with minimal supervision * Participate in Safety improvement throughout the facility * Keep your area clean, organized, and well maintained The selected candidate will also possess: * Machine Set-up experience * Metrology experience * Basic machine maintenance * Ability to read engineering sketches * Programming background a plus * Formal CNC training courses a plus Salary Range: $25-$34/hr More information can be found at Company Description Defense Search is a specialized recruiting and staffing firm dedicated exclusively to the defense & aerospace industry.
