Assembly TechnicianBrittmoore - Houston, TX 77041OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift Day Travel Percentage None Category ManufacturingDescriptionAt WeldFit, the position of Assembly Technician is responsible for final Assembly of performance product line and performing the duties and responsibilities below.QualificationsAssembles mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in our performance product lineAssembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembliesRead, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and productsHave a general understanding of Valves, Flanged, and BoltingResponsible for helping machinists, welders and other operators as per customers orderResponsible for overall cleanliness and maintenance of the building by performing the following dutiesObtains various materials for jobs from stock area.Clean tools at end of each shift.ResponsibilityPerforms other related duties as assigned.Work and think safety at all timesMust be able to work overtime and weekends with minimum noticeMust be able to work responsibly and independently with little supervisionPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend and climbCapability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisHigh Level of manual dexterityGood mechanical aptitudeEducation/Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrior experience in similar jobRequired SkillsVerbal Communication in EnglishEnglish Reading SkillsEnglish Writing SkillsSpanish Language Skills is a plusTime Management SkillsOrganizational SkillsMathematic Aptitude
