\n \nJones Networking is recruiting for a Tax Manager to join a growing and inspiring Accounting Firm in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will be an experienced tax professional with strong leadership abilities, excellent client communication skills, and a desire to mentor others while contributing to the firm’s continued success. \n \nTax Manager Responsibilities:
\n- Lead and oversee the Tax Department’s daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tax engagements.
\n- Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
\n- Conduct tax research, planning, and projections for high-value clients and complex entities.
\n- Supervise, train, and mentor team members, fostering professional development and continuous learning.
\n- Maintain and enhance client relationships by providing exceptional service, proactive communication, and strategic tax guidance.
\n- Identify and present opportunities to expand services with existing clients and attract new business.
\n- Oversee billing and client invoicing, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
\n- Stay current with federal and state tax regulations and communicate updates to the team and clients.
\n- Participate in community and networking events to represent and promote the firm.
\n- Provide input on process improvements and contribute to firm-wide initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
\n \nTax Manager Requirements:
\n- 5+ years of progressive tax accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
\n- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA license strongly preferred.
\n- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
\n- Strong technical expertise in tax compliance, planning, and research.
\n- Excellent leadership, communication, and client service skills.
\n- Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software (experience with multiple platforms is a plus).
\n- High level of initiative, professionalism, and adaptability.
\n- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to contribute to the firm’s growth.
