Engineering Recruiter

Job Summary:

AEP is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate, professional, and management-level positions, including engineers and project managers. The role partners with hiring managers and HR teams to identify staffing needs, source and evaluate candidates, coordinate offers and onboarding, and ensure compliant hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, resume screening, interviews, assessments, reference checks, and offers.
• Partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and sourcing teams to meet hiring needs.
• Manage candidate pipelines, internal transfers, ATS records, and recruiting documentation.
• Coordinate offer communication, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
• Support recruiting process improvements and provide guidance to junior recruiting team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of corporate recruiting experience, including professional and management-level positions.
• 3+ years of experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online recruiting tools.
• Strong communication, relationship management, consulting, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. xhyhwjd
• Utilities or energy industry experience preferred, especially Nuclear Development & New Generation.
