• Lead corporate initiatives that may span multiple business areas and systems.
\n
• Provide overall project leadership and management, including scope, budget, risk management, communications, implementation, and warranty.
\n
• Take projects from initial conception through final implementation, or take over projects already in progress and drive them through successful completion.
\n
• Define and document project scope, objectives, detailed project schedules, budget needs, and status reports.
\n
• Confer with stakeholders, product owners, and other parties to establish schedules, dependencies, assignments, and clear project communication.
\n
• Provide tactical and strategic input on planning and systems-related projects.
\n
• Manage subcontractors and their workforce when applicable.
\n
• Maintain project artifacts, including MS Project schedules and SharePoint sites, to support accurate and visible dashboarding.
\n
• Report project status and health measurements through various communication methods to stakeholders and direct line management.
\n
• Support Agile Enterprise Services through continuous improvement and innovation.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5 years of professional experience leveraging computer technology and/or information systems, including 2 years of project management experience.
\n
• Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and implementation.
\n
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications and suites, Windows Server, and networking applications.
\n
• Strong understanding of systems best practices and quality improvement principles.
\n
• Experience communicating with multiple levels of management.
\n
• Effective risk and issue management.
\n
• Exposure to Agile methodology.
\n
• Experience in the health care or health insurance industry.
\n
• Strong analytical skills and independent decision-making ability.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
\n
• Ability to understand, create, and manage project budgets using sound financial management skills.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Experience with systems research and analysis and creating and presenting business documentation.
\n
• Experience working with and managing third parties.
\n
• Knowledge of business requirements development and user acceptance testing.
\n
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
\n
• Ability to generate reports based on available data and make decisions based on reported data.
\n
• Ability to facilitate and resolve customer requests and inquiries across management levels.
\n
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years of progressive experience coordinating and managing enterprise-wide projects.
\n
• Master's degree in Business or Information Systems, or demonstrable finance and accounting acumen.
\n
• Agile Practitioner or Project Management Professional certification.
\n
• Lean Enterprise or Continuous Improvement certification.
\n
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
\n
• Advanced Microsoft Applications and Suites knowledge.
\n
• Advanced SharePoint knowledge.
\n
• Intermediate knowledge of BCBSAZ applications.
\n
• Strong technical documentation skills.
\n
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
\n
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Knowledge of internal departments and operations.
\n

• $46.02 to $61.36/hour
