We help businesses and municipalities reduce and divert waste, lowering disposal costs and fueling local supply chains by ensuring materials are recovered, recycled, and reused.About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team.Shift: M-F, Occasional Saturday's 3am-2pm, 5am-3pm (Job Type: Full-Time) | Location: Austin, TXBenefits:Health, Dental, Vision insuranceFSAVacation Time401k matchingEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental LeaveTuition ReimbursementResponsibilities:Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal lawsOperate and drive different types of trucks, including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailersConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulationsPlan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic lawsMaintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usageCommunicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the roadEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulationsMinimum Job Qualifications:A valid Class A Commercial Driver's LicenseMust be 21 years of ageAt least three (2) years of experience, proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's licenseSuccessfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle reviewMust be able to verify and maintain accurate daily recordsBe able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containersOther Duties:All job requirements in this job description provided indicate the minimum level of knowledge, skills, and abilities deemed necessary to perform the job competently.
