Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Location

San Francisco, CA | Outpatient Oncology / BMT Clinic

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient oncology and hematology/BMT clinic setting
• Administer chemotherapy in accordance with ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification standards
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
• Float to other affiliated facilities within the health system as needed, provided requisite job qualifications are met
• Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Any prior employment with a University of California medical facility or affiliated/acquired facility must be disclosed at time of submittal, including dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal; time off requires manager approval at time of offer and cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates are welcome and are considered on the same basis as travel candidates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
• Outpatient hematology/BMT clinic experience
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
