Starting Pay : $21.50/hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Frequent overtime, typically on weekends, may be required based on production demands and business needs.
Location : Addison, IL

SWD Inc. is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Metal Finishing team on 3rd Shift. This is an entry-level manufacturing position where you'll learn how metal parts are processed, inspected, loaded, unloaded, and prepared for customer delivery.

• Starting pay of $21.50/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Load and unload metal parts from production lines
• Pack finished products according to customer requirements
• Review and follow shop orders
• Perform visual inspections of finished parts
• Stage completed work for the next step in production
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
• Assist with general production and department needs

What We're Looking For:

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout an entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
• Team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail

About Us:

SWD Inc. opened for business in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning, and pickling operations with used equipment. In late 1980, the company began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has over 250 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 250,000 sq. ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.
